planning and preparation

  1. Check the device specifications and installation guide provided by the manufacturer.

  4. Prepare the installation area by cleaning and decluttering the space, removing any obstructions or debris that may hinder the installation process.

  • Craft beer equipment in place: Refer to the relevant drawings, and determine the location of the equipment according to the process requirements and site conditions.
  • Brewhouse equipment: determine the operation plane, adjust the distance between the mashing pot and the lauter tank, connect the process pipeline fittings, wort pump, fill the saccharification with tap water, filter equipment and pipelines, supply steam for heating, start the wort pump to test for leaks, drain Check the components by steam, and start feeding after there is no abnormality.
  • Exhaust device: The mash pot is equipped with an exhaust cylinder, and the operation room is also equipped with a ventilation device to ensure that the indoor gas is discharged in time.
  • Mechanical part: check whether the tiller of the filter tank and other equipment, the motor of the mixer, the fixing bolts of the reducer, the connecting parts, etc. are loose or abnormal, and whether the oil level of the deceleration machine is normal. After wiring, turn on the power and adjust the direction of rotation , Trial run, feeding can only be done after correct.
  • Liquid level gauge: Check whether the glass tube is damaged, and it can leak only after it is correct.
Requirements: Steam heating type, the steam pressure is adjusted to 0.15 to 0.2MPA, and the water level in the mash pot must not be lower than the upper limit of the heating jacket.  

Fermentation equipment

After installing the L pipe, valve, pressure gauge, temperature sensor and other accessories in the fermenter, pressurize it with tap water to 0.18 to 0.2MPA, hold the pressure for 2 hours, clean it if there is no abnormality, and test it one by one.
Note: Refrigeration devices customized for craft beer equipment are installed and debugged by refrigeration engineers, and non-personal personnel are prohibited from opening them.

Auxiliary equipment installation

Install and connect any auxiliary equipment that supports the brewing process, such as chillers, boilers, filtration systems, pumps, compressors, and refrigeration units. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for each piece of auxiliary equipment and ensure proper connections to utilities and control systems. Test the functionality and performance of assistive devices to verify that they are functioning as expected.

Disinfect and Clean

Clean and sanitize all brewing equipment to remove any contamination or residue before commissioning. Follow industry best practices and use approved cleaners to ensure a hygienic brewing environment.

Craft beer machine installation environment

Pay attention to issues such as environmental drainage and sanitation for the installation of beer equipment. If your craft beer machine is not installed on the first floor but on the second floor or other locations, you also need to consider the load-bearing capacity of the house where the equipment is installed and the laying of drainage and water supply settings.
The installation of craft beer equipment must consider the convenience of your use.
